RealtyWare on Apple Mac computers
Summary
It is possible to run RealtyWare on Intel-based Apple Mac computers by either using Boot Camp or a virtualization software.
More Information
RealtyWare has been designed to run on Microsoft Windows XP/Vista operating systems. Even though other platforms are not directly supported, Intel-based Macs can also run Microsoft Windows operating systems. This way you can use RealtyWare on your Mac. There are two ways to run Microsoft Windows on a Mac:
- By using Boot Camp.
- By using a virtualization software, such as Parallels Desktop for Mac or VMware Fusion. This approach basically allows you to run RealtyWare within OS X.
Both solutions require a copy of Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
RealtyWare is based on the Microsoft .NET Framework. There are several projects that are trying to make the Microsoft .NET Framework available on other platforms, such as Linux and OS X. So in the future RealtyWare may run directly on thoese platforms.
