Upload properties to Kyero.com

Introduction

This article explains how to configure RealtyWare to upload properties to Kyero.com.

Instructions

The first step is to sign-up at Kyero.com. Once you've completed the registration, contact Kyero.com and ask for a FTP account to upload your properties. Once you have the FTP account details, follow these steps to configure the property upload in RealtyWare:

1. Open the Tools menu and select Property Upload....
2. Click on the "+" on the toolbar and select Add Upload Profile.
3. Enter the name for the new profile, e.g. Kyero.com.
4. Select Kyero XML in the Type/Format drop-down.
5. Enter the FTP account details supplied by Kyero.com.
6. The field Picture Base URL must contain the HTTP base path to the upload directory. This path can be typically obtained by combining the FTP server/host with the agent identifier and the picture directory (e.g. http://kyero.com/agentid/).
7. Make sure Upload all available properties is selected.
8. Click on Start Upload. RealtyWare will convert, package and upload the property data.
9. Once the upload has been completed, click on OK to save the configuration.
10. Kyero.com can now import your properties into their database.

Notes:

• To update your properties, simply go to the property upload screen by opening the Tools menu and selecting Property Upload.... Then select Kyero.com in the list and click on Start Upload. Note that it may take some time until Kyero.com updates the database with your new data, but it usually should not take more than 24 hours.
• You may also select which properties, instead of all of them, are uploaded. Simply select the option Upload selected properties in the property upload profile and then open each property that you would like to upload, select Groups, click on Select... under Data Exchange and select the appropiate profile.
• You can also upload your properties to any other web site and then just inform Kyero.com about the URL.
