Update RealtyWare to the latest version

Introduction

This article explains how to update RealtyWare to the latest version.

Instructions

RealtyWare can be updated via two different methods:

By opening the Tools menu, Automatic Updates and then selecting Check for program updates.... The program will automatically download and install the latest version of RealtyWare.

- or -

Download the latest version of RealtyWare from http://www.realtyware.com/download/ and install it over the existing installation.

Notes:

Do NOT uninstall the previous version of RealtyWare before installing the update.

It is highly recommended that you backup all your RealtyWare databases before installing any updates.

Your license may not allow you to install the latest version of the program. In this case, you'll be able to install the last version that is available with your license. You may have to renew your license to be able to obtain and install any newer version.

The currently logged-on user must have administrative rights to install any program updates.

In multi-user (network) environments, all computer must run exactly the same version of RealtyWare.
