Restore a database from a backup file

Introduction

This article explains how to restore a database from a previously created backup file.

Instructions

Follow these instruction to restore a database from a backup file:

1. Either create a new database or open an existing one that you want to overwrite with the data in the backup file.
2. Open the Tools menu, select Database and click on Restore....
3. You will be prompted to select the backup file to restore. Select the backup file and click on Open.

Notes:

• Restoring a backup file will delete all existing data in the currently open database.
• You must log-in to RealtyWare as an administrator, the restore is not available to standard users.
