Customize currencies and update exchange rates

Introduction

This article describes how to customize currencies and update their exchange rates.

Instructions

1. Start RealtyWare and open a database.
2. Open the Customize menu and select Currencies....
3. Make any changes you require to the list by adding, deleting and updating the currencies.
4. Click on OK to save the changes.

Notes:

• Make sure that your main currency is set as base currency. The base currency should not be changed under normal conditions, as it affects large parts of the application and database.
• The Code column must contain the three-letter ISO code of each currency.
• You can also automatically update the exchange rates of the currencies in the list by selecting an update source and clicking on the button Update Now.
