Activate reminder/alarm for activities

This article explains how to activate the activity reminder/alarm for one or more users.
Instructions
Create a new or open an existing activity. Make sure the Start field contains a date and time value (it must not be empty). Set the Status of the activity to any of the values that indicate that the activity is still pending (i.e. to anything other than Canceled, Closed, Completed or Failed). Open the Contacts tab and highlight your name in the Selected Contacts list. If your name does not appear on the Selected Contacts list, add it from the Available Contacts list first. Under Selected Contact, set the field Reminder to any value other than (None). If you set the field to 15 minutes, then the reminder function will notify you 15 minutes before the date and time specified in the Start field. Click on OK to save your changes.
Notes:
- You can activate the reminder for any database user by simply adding the user's contact to the Selected Contacts list and selecting a time value from the Reminder field. Each user can have it's own reminder for each activity.
- All reminders of an activity will be cleared if the start date and time is cleared (i.e. set to Timeless) or the activity status is set to Canceled, Closed, Completed or Failed.
